Annual Meeting for Liaison Officers - 2026
The annual meeting organised by the Governance Action Directorate for Liaison Officers for Ombudsman cases and NAO audits, focused on the newly-introduced web-based reporting system. Emphasis was made on proper and timely reporting by the Liaison Officers on actions taken by Ministries, following a recommendation by both institutions of oversight. A discussion by all present followed on any difficulties encountered by Liaison Officers upon using the digital system and possible future enhancements thereto to resolve these difficulties and gain maximum benefit from the system.
In the second part of the session, Liaison Officers were engaged in a workshop, consisting of a case study, which they had to upload on the system and follow it up with the reporting process.
