Annual Meeting for Liaison Officers - 2026
The Implementation Directorate recently hosted its 4th Ministry Focal Points' Forum, marking the introduction of PROMPT (PROject Monitoring PlaTform). Developed by MITA for the Coordination and Implementation Division within the Office of the Prime Minister, PROMPT is set to replace the existing MEIS system. This innovative platform is designed to enhance reporting and monitoring of Government programmes and measures, ensuring greater accountability and transparency.
PROMPT's advanced features aim to streamline public service processes, offering flexibility to potentially cater for tenant onboarding, thereby maximising investment and sustainability. By synergising efforts towards digitalisation and modernisation, PROMPT will enable the Public Service to collect comprehensive data on project implementation, facilitating evidence-based decision-making.
The forum, held on September 26 and 30, was divided into two parts. The first featured a demonstration of PROMPT's interface and usage, while the second included a workshop during which focal points had the opportunity of having a hands-on experience with the new system. MITA's team attended both sessions, providing necessary support and guidance.
