The third Focal Points' Forum took place on Friday 5th July where once again Focal Points from all Government Ministries were convened. The Director General (Coordination and Implementation), Mr Oreste Cassar introduced the meeting and highlighted how at this time of year, the Implementation Directorate within the Coordination and Implementation Division in the Office of the Prime Minister, starts the work related to the publication on the Implementation of budgetary measures for 2024. This publication is issued by the Office of the Principal Permanent Secretary each year and reports on the status of implementation of the budget measures. The Director (Project Implementation), Mr Aaron Abdilla went on to give an account of the current rate of implementation of said measures. He then went into more detail on the work involved for the publication explaining how the Directorate and Ministries will be working hand in hand to collect the necessary information during the months of July and August. The forum concluded with further updates and discussions.​
